Pied Crows
You might think of this bird as the "Windex Bird". Made famous in recent years by their appearance on the TV commercials.
An unusual bird to see in the pet market, Pied Crows are becoming more common.
46 to 50 cm in length, they are a bird that requires a huge amount of space due to their activity. They will fly and jump from perch to perch all day long.
Glossy black heads are marked with white shoulders and breasts, they appear to wear a white cape. Native to Africa and Madagascar, they, like our native U.S. Black Crows, are capable of perfect mimic and speech.
They are fed a diet that includes meat, as they are carnivors in nature. Vegetables, fruit, grains and pastas should also be included.
Toys are necessary and lots of interaction time with their people as they are very sociable when kept as pets.
