Conures
Gold Capped Conures for sale Sweet, gentle, Conures. Cavity nesters who love to snuggle by nature.

These birds can make wonderful family companions.

When thinking about the Conure group, there are many species available in the pet market to choose from. Most are rather inexpensive, and a smaller sized bird, that will not require a huge cage or toys. Some can be quite loud, like the beautiful Sun Conures, and some are considered to be relatively quiet, like the Green Cheeked Conure and the Blue Crowned Conure. All are usually very snuggly birds, loving to cuddle up with you and be held close. They are cavity nesters by nature, so will appreciate a tent or snuggly to sleep inside, and will even crawl inside a collar or pocket of your shirt!

A roomy cage is required as these birds are all very active and need room for toys and playing, in addition to a cage with seed guards as they tend to be a little messy when eating. A healthy diet of pellets, a high quality seed/nut mixture, lots of fresh vegetables, fruit, pasta, and grains, all should be in your Conures dishes.
