Relatively new to the hybrid macaws, the Catablu is a Catalina with a Blue & Gold Macaw. Their coloration ranges from very similar to the B & G, to the oranges and yellows of the Catalina.

 

As all Macaws, house them in a large, well made cage and feed them a healthy diet
of pellets, a high quality seed/nut mixture and plenty of fresh vegetables and fruit.

Variety is always the best in a bird diet.  Try some pasta, well cooked chicken, eggs, and

even oatmeal or grits!

 

Don't forget the toys.  As with any birds, these guys love to play!
