Tips by David and Gayle
Pet Bird Toys

Most birds love a new toy. Toys are not just fun, but provide necessary chewing for a bird to keep his beak in good condition, and not too long or sharp. Toys also promote mental stimulation and entertainment for your bird. Rotate a couple different toys through his cage, this will offer him something new more frequently. Always monitor the condition of your bird's toys to protect him from broken parts, rope that has gotten too long, or any sharp or broken parts.

If your bird seems shy around toys, start small. Provide something that is not intimidating. A very small toy will be experimented with and easily learned to be fun!

Always remember, toys are NOT an option, they are MANDATORY for proper bird care.
