Inexpensive Toys for your Pet Bird

This birdie tip comes to us from Carol Frank, owner of Avian Adventures Cages. Carol wants you to know, that one of her bird's favorite toys, is to simply give them an empty paper towel or bath tissue cardboard roll! She says they have fun with it for hours and it's an inexpensive toy! Also, when birds destroy toys, and you find pieces in the bottom of the cage, save them! Pieces of wood that have not been chewed up, beads, leather, and many of the trinkets found on toys, can be restrung to create a new toy! You can purchase rope or leather designed for re-stringing, and quickly and inexpensively have a toy your bird hasn't seen yet!
